Shianne Antoine began her dance training at age 3 at Anna Apicella Dance Studio in Baltimore, MD. She trained at various dance studios in Maryland during her school age years and later studied dance with Gloria Lang at Mercy High School. Antoine graduated from Towson University in 2016 with a BFA in Dance Performance and Choreography with a K-12 Teaching Certification. While at Towson, she had the privilege to study under Vincent Thomas, Runqiao Du, Linda- Denise Fisher- Harrell, Christopher K. Morgan, Alia Kache, and other influential teaching artists. She has taught dance for seven years with one of her roles being the Assistant Director of Dance at Mercy High School for three years. Antoine danced as a company member in Deep Vision Dance Company, a Baltimore based Modern Company. She is currently a teacher with Mission Dance Works, Dance and Bmore, and the YMCA. Antoine has served as a guest artist for Annapolis High School and is currently a company member with Humanistics Dance Company, a project based Contemporary dance company in Brooklyn, NY.
